Hey Everyone,
So today, Thursday, is the first day of school this week. That's right... Thursday!!! Apparently, a new rule has been posed at my workplace stating that if you work from home on a snowday, you will be working for free and they will still need you to use your vaction time. UGH!!!! I'm beginning to think this 21st century-I-can-be-it-all-mom nonsense is for the birds.
Anyway, I've had plenty of time to work on a little project that I wanted to share. Considering that I couldn't leave the house, I think it turned out pretty well. I was watching youtube and My Pink Stamper had an old holiday project I decided to try called Cocoa Sliders, especially since my daughter thinks that she must give a gift to EVERY teacher and staff person in her school. I didn't you the fancy cocoa, just the kind you buy in a box. It also gave me a great opportunity to use up some stash, so when I won't feel guilty when I go on a shopping spree at CKC this spring. :-)
If you are interested in doing a quick little project with your Circut that was a lot of fun, go check out http://www.mypinkstamper.com/

Rice Krispie trees
Here is a cute, inexpensive and wonderful recipe that me and my 5 year old are going to do this weekend. I had no idea that rice krispies had a recipe website!! I will be coming backto this site often. Until then, I thought I should share.
